how do i get the center console out of my corsa B? anyone done it?

Absolute Nightmare of a job tbh.

Great guide there, in addition though, try to use a bit of card or something between your plastics and the screwdriver to minimise any scratches/damage

thanks for the link. i am also gonna remove the plastic part where the gearstick is. gonna paint that too plus change the leather around the gear stick..

its hard not to snap bits at the back off the centre console like the vent box bit at the back-i replaced the dud bulbs for bright blue ones after been told not to attempt it but i did anyway

how else you gonna learn about your own car
take it all to bits is what i say and have done.....

ive spray'd all my dash trims did,

above the glove box
handle surrounds
sunroof winder surrond
dash surrond
gear sick surrond
clock cover
fuse box cover
all in gloss black
same as me car looks ace i had white before but all i could see was my dash shining in the window back at me face was very annoying

ive taken 3 to bits now, no better way to learn

Iv just put one back in a tigra. Its not hard really just got to take your time. Its only 4 screws and the rest is the cables and wires.

i had an car immobiliser pronge wiring in the way which dint help just made it harder.....gotta do it again to respray it
