To be fair, he's only taking about corsa racing, so I don't quite know why everyones jumping on the beef wagon. If it had been an Astra VXR stuffing a Focus ST eveyone would love it (happens all the time though: Poke ST owners  )
No-one done this when I posted that James tuned and stripped 1.4 16v kept up with my XE up till about 70mph.
Poster: My missis had a tuned 1.6 16v engine and it would happily sit on my XE's ass up to 80-90mph, and it weighed shedloads with its full audio, leather, bodykit etc... Would have loved that engine (C16XE running circ 160bhp).

No, 1.2 racing is lame.
tuned 1.6 16v Vs 2.0 on a Corsa forum i would think would be a little more appreciated, if not some banter.

VXR - Hope your not referring to me jumping on the ole bandwagon, Not once have I ever said on this forum that I've raced such car etc, it's pathetic. Called him a bell end because of his statement that I replied to the one where he said,
