Just looking through ebay for the bits I want for the Astra and the only bits i can find are new and (imo) way over priced (Irmscher kit etc)

Just browsing a local dealers website and seen one in there with everything i want on it, But i'm thinking that i would be mad in swapping a car that i have already spent a bit of money on it!

Can't decide weather to swap it, Or just do without it and keep the current car as it is!

Cheaper to wait for cheap bits. If you're keen you'll find something with poor pictures or photos, perhaps local, get a cheeky bid in and you may be OK.

Tried that a few times and been unsuccessfull. Put a few bids on a set of GSI style headlights that i got for buttons. Payed for them and they never turned up. Was an auction with no picture on it. Luckily i got my money back off them.

Also tried the cheap bits, But they are usually neither use nor ornament! Even looked for the replica parts but even they are over priced!

Just looking for the irmscher bits on there is bad enough. They are either asking daft money for them, Or they are in a right mess.

Try that mate. Just put in the box what you want to search for and it'll bring up everything thats spelt similar so you willl get all the ones with spelling mistakes that no-one bids on because they dont come up.

I got my K&N panel filter off eBay for £20 because there was no picture but it was the right part number. Only bidder ftw.

Bit of an update!

Just tried the above site. Got an Irmscher front splitter off ebay. Got the rear by sheer luck. Was talking to a mate outside of his works and a lad was passing in a modified astra van. He shouted me over and asked if i was intrested in a bumper trim that didn't fir his van (It had a full irmscher kit minus the rear bumper splitter)

He came back half an hour later with the irmscher rear splitter, And another bonus it was painted the same colour as my car. All he wanted was £20 for it aswell!!!

Only problem is now is trying to find a set of the sideskirts for a 5 door cheap now!
