Now I'm not bad with mechanics, and I've seen my fair share of dodgy people. I thought that breaking into my car wouldn't be all too difficult.
Wrong!
I didn't want to break a window, or bend the door back. If it was a case of bending it back to hook the keys off the seat or something, then fine. But since they were in the ignition I wouldn't be able to.
So I tried to hook the lock up by going under the window, but the wire seemed to be completely shielded, and I failed.
So in the end, believe it or not, my mate's housemate was a windscreen fitter so he popped out my rear window.
I couldn't have done it without him.
If I was alone, I would have had to damage the door, or a window. Only with someone with expertise and tools could I get into a cheap, not very secure car.
Not sure if I should be impressed or annoyed.
Gaz
P.s I have spares, but they were 40 odd miles away. So that was plan B.

Its amazing how easy it is to break into a car without any signs of damage if you know the tricks.

Sticky pads?
I suspect there are lots of tricks to get in without damage, but I certainly couldn't do it.
And in fact, popping the window out seemed the best way.
