I dont have cable coverage and my ADSL speeds ok, but will this actually do anything? Bear in mind my line is only 2 months old, I live in a new build so maybe newest tech?

How do you actually fit them? I'm a bit ham fisted when it comes to wiring...

See if plugging your line into the MAIN socket in your house works. Take the casing off the front and plug it in there as well.

If you get better speeds/stability or whatever you're after, chances are it'll work.

Agree with Noshua, make sure your router is in the main socket for best results. Also, surely one of those is basically the same thing as a microfilter anyway just done in a different way? If the microfilter is faulty then replace that.

All that faceplate is, is a filter. But it comes before the first socket, so no other filters are needed. I doubt it will do anything for speeds though.

They do increase speed in some situations because of the filtering, won't know witohut trying though.

Don't they have the same effect as cutting the ring wire? That does make a difference
