my commute to work is 3.4 miles and my best time is just under 15 mins. i reccomend getting a decent cycle computer with a cadence readout. it makes you keep pace better and maintain a higher average speed.

I got under 25 mins (3.2 miles) from door to door after i locked my bike up... I was just cruising along listening to The Kooks

Think this will have to be a common occuerence

My cycle was very hilly

My timing method was just clocking my phone before i left then i got a text when i was in work so saw it again

Who actually pushes it to get to work?
If im late i'll take the car, don't fancy sweating my bollocks off whilst sitting at my desk...

I don't cycle to work as its 35 miles and would kill me

I normally go for a ride a couple of times a week though, do about 9 miles in 35 minutes when I push it.

My commute is roughly 5 miles. But I've got a computer to use when my new bike turns up. So I'll get accurate results then

I dont gun it to work, I just go for a casual ride so I dont get manky for work.
