So the moment is nearing when i will be assembling my engine back together - from bare block.

I have never done this before, and although have good idea how to put it all ack together - got few questions.

Firstly - should i use some special lubrication to assemble bottom end? or just same grade oil as i will be using in engine will be fine?

Should i lube bore before inserting pistons?

I am aware that i will need ring compressor. There are loads of them on Ebay for 6+ pounds. Are they any good?

Any tips are welcome! dont wnat to mess this up!

Find sum1 to go through it wit u as u go.

I use graphogen grease on all bearings. Wellseal on gasket faces and wurth RTV sealent on the main cap on flywheel side.

Make sure everythng is spotless, pistons go in the correct way. The bearings are fitted right, if they have holes for oil way then make sure u put them in lined up with oil way on rods and block and when i do ring, i tend to put top ring about 2 o clock, middle at 10 and oil scrapper at 6.
