Hi guys,
I thought I would ask here before signing up on 28DL.
Is there anyone here that knows of ANY urbex type locations in the Warwickshire area? I quite fancy going out with the camera on Sunday (day time only, too scared to go at night )
Any recommendations at all?

You can search without signing up on 28dl iirc, just have a nose on there for places.
I could tell you a couple in Derby, but doubt that helps, I noticed one that I want to try some time when I was out the other day, but it's massively visible to everyone so would have to be sneaky about it. It's an old police station as well by the look of it

If you ever fancy an Urbex up north, I have a few places that can be visited. Big sites. Cheap dealz.

Please don't say the one opposite the Assembley Rooms? My mates have tried and got caught, BUT on 28dl, some guys have managed to get it and take some photos, not to interesting tbh. It's one I've wanted to try as I pass it everyday on the way to work. There is another one, on the Uttoxeter New Road where they are building a new crossroad/roundabout, and behind it al is an abondoned building, but aint got a clue how to get up there.
Probably a bit late Doug but this is the section you want to be looking in.

Yeah was the one accross from the Assembly rooms, if it's no good then it's probbly not worth it then. The train depot on great northern is meant to be good, but they've secured it more again now, and there's a lot of pics on 28dl anyway. Did managed to take a couple of pics looking into it, but needed rope to get in properly!

Is that the place where I'm on about? Not too familiar with Derby, as I only work there? If not do you know where I mean?

few pics on there of it, from a year and a bit ago. But because they're changing the ring road, i think it got more secured, there used to be an easy way in there which is now boarded up completely

I went to Long Marston today where there is an abandoned air craft graveyard. There are some shacks around where in the 80/90's there were some plans to restore all the craft.
So it isnt like going to an old hospital or something but still cool. First batch of pictures....
Chilling on top of a plane
All shots are straight from the camera with a slight vignetting added. Was perfect light so no need to change anything
Body: D300
Lens: 12-24 Wide
All photos can be found on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/doug86/
