was trying to get photos of a train at a crossing for a job and the car looked rather swish in the sun, clean for once as well! Train came out shit but car looked alright i thought -

A sticker number plate, which is flat on bonnent, then a massive gash 1 at the bottom of the bumper.?

sticker plate would look mega shit imo. Also there is a little plinth thing sticking out from the bodywork that the number plate sits on, would be a pretty big job getting rid of it.
