hi

i was wondering if anyone as every used this carbon fibre vinyl on a front bonnet and if it looks any good i was just thinking about it or just wondering if it can be done

can be done , looks shit hot matey, its not cheap tho, i have done it to my mates bad boy one and it really suits the black car

the 3m stuff is not a wraping vinyl its not even designed for it lol, its false , we brought it thinking it was and was told it was , but later to discover its not, its ok for slight curves and flat stuff ,

Bettley, it seems maybe the skill isn't there if you think it's not for wrapping .

I'd say theres some pretty big curves there?

what iam saying is , its not designed for it, dont get me wrong it will curve and will do that, but useing a proper wraping one would make results better

rob b 3m vinyl is not for exterior wrapping its fine for internal stuff call 3m and they will tell you this oh and it was me who had his bonnet done on a silver zaf gsi

As many are stating its not for exterior use i thought i'd state i've had it for 6 months in the place that is probably subjected to weathering more than any other.

i think i might do my bonne in the 3m stuff, paints chipped to fuck and its cheaper than a respray

I saw an escort at the ace cafe with a carbon wrapped bonnet, it looked stupid with the underside of the bonnet still being painted and the vinyl didn't look that much like proper carbon fibre anyway, loads of people were laughing at it.
