following on from the thread about points, if you have points for whatever reason, how long do you have to leave it before you start telling insurance companies? i have heard bother 3 years and 4 years? say for example you are looking for a renewal and you had points 3 and a half years ago to the day would you have to put it down on the quote?

When I got 9 I didn't tell them, as it was too much hassle, within two weeks of me having them, 3 would have come off again so I just let it be.
