I do like Fabia VRS' - but then brand snobs would snigger at the fact i drove a skoda. Plus they seem to really hold their value well.

Whats your A4 like on fuel?

I didn't really fill it up to the brim but would get about 250-275 miles to £25

Motorway obviously get more but so good on diesel. I do drive like an old man with 5th-6th gear most places

I liked it better when people though 'it's a skoda', their ignorance isn't my problem.

IMO exactley the same, the suspension set up is identical

After owning both, the TT drives much better. MK4 Golf is very dull to drive!

I'd be a bit worried what car you could get for those prices, I sold my 02 plate for £8,000 with 80k miles.

I'd have another but maybe a QS or a V6!

I've had a 225 quattro for 3 years now. Had it remapped the week i got it by Revo.

As standard they are slow, once remapped they are much more fun.

They are heavy, and understeer when pushed.

I get 25mpg, and i drive like a terrorist most of the time.

5.5 to 60 and 14.0 to 100 once remapped, so quick enough.

The quattro system is actually okay. I cant remember what wheel spin is. It rains most of the time up here, so its great to be able to floor it away from lights and be half way down the road whilst the rest of the traffic is just setting off from the lights.

You can change the haldex controller to make it more rear wheel biased, but if its just a daily drive you wont need it.

The rear seats are for display purposes only unless you are a midget yourself and can bring the front seats forward to create space. But i'm 6'2" so they are all the way back.
