R33 skyline? £3500 should get you a decent one (gtst) even though they are single turbo they are still quick with a bit of work. A mate of mine has got one and it handles much better that you would think.

If not I would go for an e36 m3.

Fuel economy? Why do people ask this question when talking about performance cars? It's going to be pretty crap isn't it?

i love my Accord Type-R...a bargain for what you get for the money. Make sure you get a good one though. 'One lady owner' on type-R ads can be a bad thing...as if they have run low on oil due to not being checked regularly...that will kill them. So be careful with that.

The corrado's are crackin cars...and also BMW E30 325's are immense and look stunning.

an e36 M3 for £3500 will be pretty rough for that money, I would spend £5k+ at least on one.

I feel you need to own a e36 to realise this fact, people just seem to think you can get them cheap as chips.

They are old cars now though and another 2 generations of the M3 have been released.Yes the low mile minters will command a decent price tag. They can still be had for less than 5k however.Bodywork might need a cpl of minor touch-ups(like most 14yr old cars).Mileage isnt as much of an issue on these if they have had some decent servicing over the years. My brothers old E36 M3 was on 160k and it ran/drove faultless and was silly quick.
