i had petrol pissing out from both sides of my fuel filter on the corrado, checked the hoses and they weren't split but the clamps were almost rusted through and doing nothing, one fell to bits as i tried to undo it.
New vs Old.
I would of cried seeing my car on fire

a little bit of rust here and there but nothing life ending within the next 5yrs so i'm not too worried.
one day i'll either buy another and swap bits over or restore mine, or just sell it in bits and get something else

why not spend some time making yours rust free?
if it's anything like my golf it should just be a wire brush job, some rust cure and paint/underseal?

i did a little bit of it, but to get to one patch the front subframe needs to come off.
