although she will be getting charged to receive every text message most probally, and it obviously costs her a lot more to text you back.

As said. If your txting a UK number it will cost the same no matter where in the world it is. If its an Egyption number, it will prolly be 30/50p depending on your tariff.

As everyone said, if your texting her 07... number it wont cost you any more than if she was in the UK. What it's costing her on t'other hand.... lol!

think its the same price to receive txt's on hol just charges a fee to txt back to the uk

she may or may not get charged extra to receive texts and calls but it will never cost you anything extra to text/call a uk number as you are not to know where the recipient is

Costs more to her, unless she's part of some system like I am where you pay a few quid each month and it caps the roaming rates.

Costs the same to call and text her. Its done like that as you might not know the recipient is away so wouldnt be fair to charge you (which is not the mobile companies idea, they are forced to do it that way)

They pick up the cost. Though just got back from spain and it was free to receive a text, 11p to send. Think calls were 35ppm and 18ppm to receive.

Was out that working earlier in the year, only got charged for data, all my calls and texts came out of my allowance,
