its my old mans 60th next week, thought about taking him and us both doing the track day , can anyone reccomend any? ive heard some are shit with bad tracks. Any help appreciated.

In your own car?

Check out anywhere like Book-a-Track, MSV, Javelin, Easy track etc.

Only thing I wouldn't personally recommend is airfield stuff as I've always found them more harsh on the car.

different surface.

airfields tend to be made from giant slabs of concrete with contoured lines in them for grip which are alot more harsh on your tyres then a racetracks relatively smooth tarmac.

Pro's and cons for both really though as airfield days are usually cheaper and as the course is set out by cones there are less solid obects to hit like tyre walls.

another one to think about is a stunt day i done for my 21st last weekend it was good fun done wheelie transit can double decker cars push n pull car j turns handbake turns and a get away thing

Ditto, airfields are awful imo, you get the quality you pay for.

Your in Yorkshire, theres some excellent tracks in your region.
