Hammer and a scraper/big flat screwdriver
That's how I took mine out - chipped it off.
Then used white spirit to remove the adhesive marks.
Worked a treat and was next to no mess - pics in my garage

Hit the soundproofing with a hammer then chisel it off , hitting it seems to loosen it and make it alot easier to get it off
