I did my C1+E so I could increase the total train weight, currently got 8t, wanted 12t.

Did it in a 4t transit rather than a proper 7.5t.

Very similar to B, I didn't do CPC because I'm not using it professionally.

Ahh this is the stuff i need to know.

The truck will be converted to a specilized vehicle so wont be used for haulage etc.

So what test do i need to do? C1+E?

Weight wont be over 7.5 tonne

C1 is the truck, +E is the trailer.

I didn't do a theory because I already possess the category, just because it's a pre-1997 entitlement it's not heavy enough to tow a car with the wagon.

If you don't currently have C1 you'll need to do a theory. It's actually two tests.

same as carf test but for LGV.

Just need my C1 then as i dont plan to pull a trailer with it. But might be an idea to get if its not too difficult.

How did you find the test? What did it cost you with lessons etc?

Cost nearly £600 in all, that was for an assessment drive then two days tuition and the morning of the test and the fee for the test itself which is £115.
