Total waste of time stating fights with neighbours unless you are harder than him and can be annoyed looking over your back until you move out.

I had many issues with neighbours in the past, regarding VERY loud music at stupid times of day (when you get woken up by MJ @ 7am and have them playing Dolly Parton on fucking repeat at 2am) then moan, something that petty should just be left to slide, you can't get on with everyone, just humour him and rub your nipples/lick your lips when he spots you stalking him in future!

If I was in 'MY' garden and I happened to glance up and see someone staring down at me from their window next door, I would think. Hmm this is rather odd.

I may then smirk or say something to someone near by me like 'that's weird, that guy up there is watching me'.

Then if that said 'weird guy looking at me' suddenly shouted 'what is your problem, I can't look out the window?'

I'd be a bit like

I probably would call you a weirdo / wanker.

... Then at this point you stormed downstairs to argue some more.

Personally you seem the weird one.

It wasn't his garden mate, he was outside (in the public area) where I live there is a huge public green outside the front (which is what I see from my window) he was just about to enter another neighbour's garden, and I wasn't even staring at him, just glancing out the window

Some interesting thoughts from you guys, not sure on most of them though

So you shouted at a man in the street because he looked up and saw you looking out the window

id say your paranoid mate

My first thoughts were that the guy is right, you are paranoid. The man has a right to say what he likes when he's out in the street, without someone roaring out a window at him. Unless he said something directly to you, I don't see what your problem is. You don't even have a clue what he said. It might have been nothing to do with you.

You will always have an annoying neighbour wherever you live, so unless he does something to you/your property specifically, just ignore him.
