i own a corsa gsi and am thinking about fitting a redtop in it can i use my gsi gearbox on the redtop engine or not really??

No, will need to be a big block box, i.e f16, f18, f20.
You box is a small block box.

ok....
been looking in to it and going to keep the gsi lump and tune that as going to be easier what mods would i need to reach 180-190 bhp?

do you reckon it will be cheaper to buy a redtop corsa then put the engine in mine wanna spend about 1500
|

you could tune the 1.6 to about 140bhp for less than that power box, cams and arp bolts and a raised rev limmit and a 4 branch. but if your wanting 180-190 then you need to look into it seriously.

well i am euroing my car and wanted a bit of speed really but i dont even know how fast my engine is as havent had car on road yet
