(Maybe Jimmy could have answered this one ha!!)

Why is it Brazilian players are allowed to have nicknames on the back of their shirts yet English players aren't allowed (I can't find the evidence for this btw!), surely the Brazilians would also have to have their real name on their shirt too if playing in the Premier League?

Fabio & Rafael being examples. Alex at Chelsea and Lucas at Liverpool too.

cos they generally have 2 surnames as well as several first names - doesnt fit on the shirt

for example. gilberto silva had gilberto on his back at arsenal but silva on during brazil games.
