Got a quickshift on my corsa and ever since, even though i have slighty tried to improve it, the stick sits a bit far back, now i dont know if it is how i have done it or if it is a side affect to all quickshift corsas.

Best way to explain it is when in 4th it is very close to the handbrake, yet when in 3rd it is preety central.

Its not been too annoying but has been bugging me why it does it.

So basically, has anyone else had/have the same problem?

Cheers

As Warren says, the linkage will need adjusting

Here's a tutorial for it

It's a doddle, just undo the pinch bolt, lock the gearstick, lock the gearbox then tighten the pinch bolt and release the box and stick.
