I really want to do this but don't fancy having some burly man strapped on my back with his penis pressing against my ass cheeks.

How many times do you have to do tandem jumps before you can do them on your own etc.

Anyone clued up on all this?

About 20, but you'll need training and then some sort of license or certificate to say you're qualified.

Either way you're gonna get a cock rubbing up your backside.

Fuck that then, appreciate you need to train etc but 20 jumps with a dude strapped onto you.

In the forces how many jumps do you do with a mincer on your back? just a handful i bet before you are on your own.

Best thing I ever did, but I wouldn't want to go solo.

IIRC you can train and only do a few tandems. Obviously you need to buy all the kit or rent it if you get into solo jumping oftenly, plus living near a jump site and knowing the guys that work there would be in your favour to save on the cost of the plane each time.

Its the one experience I would recommend to anyone.

The amazing thing about it is that I can shut my eyes and still see/feel the experience, won't ever loose that !

20 times

i thought you could just jump out on your own after a little jump off a 2ft platform and then spinning around on the floor on a skateboard fitting with shopping trolley wheels

I've done a tandem and it was fine, no gayness at all It is fully awesome, best and most exhilarating feeling ever.

3CM - you can do a static one after about half a days training , basically you only go up to about 4000 ft, and once you jump out of the plane the 'chute automatically opens. Probably be ok, but the best bit by a mile is the free-fall.

I did guess that number, it's definately somewhere around there- though all the jumps won't be at "full height", a lot of practises and what not.

I jumped from 15,000 ft - was fairly tame. I could imagine it being a lot scarier jumping solo.

Base Jumping is where it's at though imo.

The problem with a sky dive is its only the first 15 secs of freefall that's good anyway... base jumping does that and gives you the feeling of crashing into the ground similar to bungy jumps..

like this:

seriously though, I thoroughly recommend a proper bungy to anyone... I found it a scarier / more thrilling experience than sky dive (partly because it is up to yourself to throw yourself off).

I REALLY want to do this one:

A mate of mine did this a few years ago, just as they were about to jump the instructor said, "What's the difference between a Ferrari and a hard on? I aint got a Ferrari".
