On my way to work earlier, I was sat in a queue of traffic at some lights and noticed a brown mondeo going the opposite way because of the plate, the 3 letters (which I noticed first) were OBM which is the same as mine, looked at the rest of the plate and I'm sure it was the same as my plate! (OY53) but at this point it had gone past.
I've checked similar plates (52,54,55,56,etc) and non match for the mondeo.
What should I do to follow this up? Contact DVLA/police?

I doubt it would be as if the police did a check it would come back registered to an Ibiza, which would look daft on a Mondeo. People do it on the same cars for a reason

I'm sure when they do these things they usually clone a plate from a similar car

what model mondeo was it?
it could've been DBM.

if you tell the police they will just put a marker on that number plate... just mean your being getting pulled over alot mate
