Ok any one had any problems with mould, what is the best way to clearing it, and stop it coming back ?
rather typical black and green patches around the room, one part in the top corner, around the window, and running a bit down the bottom of the wall to the floor!

Get a bit more circulation around the room. Move furniture away from the walls, open the windows etc.

Yeah as Dan said, got to get some good air flow in room, leave as many windows as you can open during the day

Damp coursing done? Is there actually a water leak or a hole in the outside wall where it is letting water in?

Is it a flat? Dehumidifiers can help. Also repainting the wall and using a decent sealer underneath can help.
The best cleaner I have found is Dettol Mould and Mildew Remover. Can get it from Asda. Contains bleach though so watch your carpets and curtains etc

we had it in our bath room
you'll need to seal and re paint your walls, and make sure you open the window whilst showering

Keep a window open very slightly for some ventilation if possable.
Then clean the effected area thouroughly with some mould and mildew remover then let it dry out completely.
Then paint it with damp sealer then emultion over the top.

was going to say finding the actual cause of the problem is better than short term superficial fixes, moisture must be coming from somewhere, bedroom walls dont just get mouldy for no reason.

Thanks, will get it sorted asap. For a long time there was a gap in the window, for years probably. But got the window replaced about year and a half ago, so perhaps its a long drawn problem because of that. All down once side of the room, right next to where the bed is.

even look outside for broken tiles, a leaking bit of gutter/drainpipes, any water marks on walls etc

as said above start with finiding out whats causing the damp, then once thats sorted a couple of coats on oilbased stain block will get rid of the mess thats left behind and will let the walls breath and dry out and then you can paint over them again and should be fine after that

This is the best advise.
Theres usually a leaking pipe (sometimes an overflow pipe), or a hole has developed in the external brickwork.
