Easiest course ever.
Forgot 90% of what they tell you, things don't work like the SIA etc think.
It's like a driving test, they teach you to pass a test then you learn to di the job after.
Jobs were easy to come by when I did mine (few years ago now)

What are you looking for? Door supervisor or guard?
I used to have a local authority licence that I did in 2001 but recently did my SIA course as I was contemplating coming out of retirement this year.
Course was p1ss easy, if you fail it then truly you are an utter epic mong
Still have not applied for my licence, the form is sitting downstairs all filled out. Managed to get a decent contract for the day job so might not go back on doors now.

Bit like Rambo? No longer in the service but called upon because he is the best of the best?

course is easy, work is shit, door work is shit everything about the industry is shit!
done it for 4 years and i love the group of guys i work with on the door, doesnt change the same idiots, the same arguements but it is fun creating new inventive ways of removing them from the premises.
Current favourite is removing them by thier pants, or indeed trying to remove their pants whilst throwing them out.
dont get into the industry!
