hi i have a 1.0 12v vauxhall corsa x reg ls i am wanting to fit electric windows into it....there is a vauxhall corsa 1.0 12v gls in the scrap yards with it all factory do i just need the dash wiring loom that plugs into behind the passangers footwell aswell as the door looms and motors to convert it or do i need the full front dash and engine wiring loom
need help A.S.A.P

It depends on what you have in place already?
Open your door and in join you will see the loom going from the shell into the door, it unscrews and then clips off, count how many pins are on the 'inside' part (not the bit left in the door) and let us know.
I forget the numbers now but if it has something like 9 pins then you need everything inside the car too. IIRC, something like 14/17 pins means it is ready for electric windows etc.

sorry to thread steal but if i had the right wires for the electric windows in the loom.. what parts would i need to convert manual to electric?????

could just transplant the doors, other than that you need to gut all the window mechanism, motors and switches from the doors I would imagine.

If you have the correct stuff upto the join I mentioned, I have everything you need to convert it including the loom and the motors, switches etc for both sides. £50 collected. £60 posted.
