got plastic headlights on my clio 172 and they have slight scratches etc so whats best to try and bring them up a bit and get them looking better?

i have plastic headlights covers that got scatched.
i carefully sanded them with 1500grit wet and dry paper, then used this stuff (as i had it lying around)

came out like new again
