Dads gf is the editor of "Soft Top Hard Top" MX5 club mag and i love these cars. Still on the "possible" lists, and whislt some say they are girly and gay, these people have never been in one obviously. Fantastic handling cars, and whilst not particulary "fast", it'll probably beat anything on this site round a bend

I loved my 1.8 mx5. Absolutly shocking in the snow though i had to get someone to come fill my boot up with shit so it had traction.

In the wet it was fun and if you dipped the clutch it was easy enough to get side ways. would of love a turbo'd/charged one as i bet they are a hoot to drive!

import ones dont tend to rust as much as the uk ones. bizzare yes! cambelt waterpump is very very easy to change 1.5hour job so if it hasnt been changed dont worry about it even if it snaps its a non interference engine.
