you usualy get some nonce with all the kit (race suit, boots, gloves, 1k helmet - 100k car) and you just have to laugh at the pish they spout in the pits

Yep...i was as at oulton on 15th July and saw the eppitomy of 'All gear, no idea'. In the garage next to ours, there was an S2000, M3 E46 and EVO9 - Chiniese lads (i was chatting to the lad with S2K).

The lad with the EVO9, which was kitted with Ohlins coilovers, takata harnesses, carbon bits all over, Rays wheels with A048's. Absolute FORTUNE must have been spent on it.

went out once, and had a 'moment' on the straight after 'Lakeside', and didnt go back out all day.

Walked round in his 'Ralliart' overalls and camera that looked like hubble.

I asked him a few times if he was goin back out but he never did...and drove back down to Kent having done 4 (slow) laps.

Absolute joke if you ask me.
