Found these which give a good indication for fast standard Road cars.
Typical Lap Times:
Radical Clubsport 1.11
Nissan GT-R (autocar.co.uk) 1.14.6
Porsche 911 Turbo PDK (autocar.co.uk) 1.14.9
Audi R8 V10 manual (autocar.co.uk) 1.15.5
BMW M3 Sedan (E90) 1:19.7 (Tiff Needell)
Lexus IS F 1:19.84 (Jason Plato)
Porsche 993 cup 1.20
Dodge Viper 1.22
Spec Miata 1.34
Vauxhall Astra Diesel (driven by The Stig on Top Gear) 1.35 (standing start)
Standard GTR time!!! WOW

yup...
Seems about right...
A standard GTR has pretty decent grippy tyres. They are very able.
Bit surprised how slow M3 and 993 Cup's are.

some more facts from Bo - official times from MLR sprint at Combe.
Standing start sprint from pit-lane to last corner. See remapped R35 GTR compared to VXR-Racer (Bo)

I was watching the track action all day at coombe. That TA Vxr was out almost every session. Sometimes it's was flying others not, it looked like it was maybe doing passenger rides??
The only thing I saw 'own' it was that fucking mental 1.4 corsa rally thing that ran rings round it on the corner I was watching from. Anyone know anymore about this corsa?
That blue coupe was pretty quick though. Sounded like a jet fighter going up the straight

Tesco Momentum 99 Racing
Used to be the Dunlop Sportsmaxx challange.
They are quick, but watching some racing at Snetterton the Courtenay car seemed to be so much faster.

Fcukin hell there quick!!!
I take it that the Evo 9 of Si Norris is the ballastic Bogey? As i've seen him race lots of other evo's at combe over the years. One of which ended up high in the netting just after Camp corner irrc.
Any idea if those times are to just before or after the last corner?
Its quite a plain circuit Castle Combe but everyone seems to really enjoy it.

This is from April this year during an AAA Saloons race meet at Castle Combe (5th April 2010)
1:10.5
They are back there on the 30th - and I believe the bogey is working much better than it was at the start of the year.

All I can say is my van was broken, but I saw the coupe in the distance, and within two corners I was pulling over to let him past. Fairplay he was going like fuck, he also overtook the black race preped cars
