been on the hunt for turbo's be doing some research etc
theres loads of 'cheap' turbo's on ebay - but how reliable are they? only want to run low boost..
what sort of price should i be looking at for a garrett T25 or T28?
tempted just to buy this (first link) seems like a bargin!

Turbo dynamics are a reputable company. I'd say buy the gt28! Also a few people I know use aet turbos.

t28 is big for z18xe engine warren...
dont believe everything you read on ccuk, he has had more trouble than people are lead to believe with running that much boost 
im usually the one on the other end of the phone telling him what to fix

DO NOT BUY CHEAP EBAY TURBOS
I'd avoid unknown second hand turbos too. You really have to ask (if you dont know the seller) why are they selling it.

are turbo dynamics a reputable company?
I own a mk4 golf gt tdi 130 which is currently struggling with the sticky vanes problem. Turbo Dynamics have the turbo I need on there website reduced down to £200.00 but I want to be sure its not a cheap and crappy replica?
Are the turbos reliable and up to the same spec of the OEM ones?

Stuey - What part of reputable company did you misunderstand. They arent cheap crap.
Problems do happen though.... things dont get fitted correctly, procedures arent followed.

I wish I could remember the name of the company I got mine dci turbo from.. if you were looking for a cheap option they import chinese copies of just about any turbo and the quality is impressive!
