After a bit of advice from fellow bikers,

ive been offered a very good deal on an 848 with my bike in as trade at a cost of £6,5k total cost to me including my bike. Bearing in mind these are in at dealers for 8k min a very good price.

Problem is im lossing 1k on mine on the trade in as i only bought it in June as 848's where to much etc.

so

1/ keep mine till next year or longer as it is a good bike (Street triple) and then end of the season?

2/ swap it and get 1.5months use out of it and take the hit on mine?

3/ swap in the off season as there are always deals around?

what are peoples thoughts?

I'd wait, save some money and get the new 848 Evo.

So you're getting a good deal... But losing £1k anyway? How is that a good deal? I'd wait.

good deal due to low miles, carbon fibre back end and other bits + cored exhausts. Plus mine is due a service and new tyre so about £400 all in. So only lossing 600, or saving £1700.00 against bikes twice the milage and standard as they start around 8k with 8000miles on them
