As above, just a wee post to say thanks to Davie and his mate Marty for helping me out with getting the Corsa sorted. Needed the engine changing over for one I was very kindly given by a mate. Here's a couple of pics that Davie took while doing it:
Old engine to be replaced:
Out in a matter of seconds no doubt:
Bay all nicely cleaned up ready to accept the new motor:
New engine to go in, cleaned up with its fetching purple/ aubergine plug cover:

Car all done and dusted - total time taken, about 2 days if that:
Really big thanks again, even sorted me out with an ignition coil which I forgot to supply. All it needs now is a set of headlights and the wheels refurbed and it'll be a whole new car.
Couple of really great guys to have working on you car and also just in general, I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get any work done.

Whereabouts in the south side mate? It's been off the road for a couple of months so that's maybe part of the reason.
