After doing 100hours of overtime over 2months and it being my 21st birthday last week i decided to treat myself to an SLR.

Went for the Nikon D3000, felt a lot more comfortable to hold than the Canon EOS1000D.

Ended up buying the camera with bundled lens, case, cleaning kit and a filter for £400

Overall i'm happy

Ah nice wouldnt mind getting an slr just dont get enough time to get out and use it my mate does photography and has got some awesome snaps with his nikon
