im getting soooo fed up with how slow my 1.4 is, to the point where ive put it up forsale to buy a vts! i would like to keep it though because its nice and comfy and well built etc. cant afford the z20let conversion for now but do want to do that in the next year or 2 and i can fit parts myself so wont be paying labour charges etc so please dont tell me its all a waste of money, i already know all that
will the 1.8 fit and wire in easily? is there anything i can do thats worthwhile to the z14ep? ive seen something about corsa vxr turbos bolting straight on to z14xe's? what about fuelling in the case of a turbo?
come on what should i do?!

If you want to go down the 1.8 route, you will be better off selling yours and getting the 1.8!

Purchase a VTS or 106 GTI. I'd prefer the GTI as the build quality is a tad better. These 1.7 Puma's look decent as well.
What about a 1.8 Corsa C? I'd love another C in my life, just getting to old for Corsa's now

looking at that now, but that will probably cost me money as well, if the wirings plug and play and i can pick up an engine for 3-400 it will probably leave me without a car for less time than if i swapped cars

i was thinking that warren. 1.8 will fit in on existing mounts etc and id use the current box and shafts. just unsure on wiring.
only info i can find on the conversion is people who have done it to the 1.2 and have had to change interior looms, but when you look at info about z20let conversions it always says the 1.4 and 1.8 are harder because they run a different ecu to the 1.2

Some viper stripes?
Sell corsa and get a 106 gti then sell that when you get bored. Id rather mod a 106 gti than waste money on a 1.4

i like my aircon, one touch electric windows, steering wheel stereo controls and stuff. just odd little "luxuries" that the saxo/106 lacks
