Hi all

it seemed as though a local guy in a 56 plate blue clio 197 wanted a little play on the dual carriage way last night

from around 20 mph to speeds a given high speed there appeared to be nothing in it at all

I generally thought they were faster as the VXR seems to have the edge upt about 70 mph on my car but the clio didnt seem to have that edge

Anyone have experiences of them - i know a fair few own one on here

reasosn i ask was that the missus like the clio's better than her VXR and was going to chop hers in for one earlier this year

real world racing in straight lines wouldn't really have any difference.

around the same bhp, around the same weight.

im guessing a corsa vxr your on about.
Like ben said, around the same weight if its the clio FF model, and the same bhp.

Edit: just buy a precat for the corsa they're about £110, makes the world of difference. 8-10bhp.
corsa rev's alot better and harder and more ripping noise from the exhaust.

It wont have anything like the torque of the VXR or the BMW. Its all about the corners in a Clio

yeah, got to rev the shit out of mine to see the power.
Tbh tho, the corsa handles amazing aswel,
the clio only has the brembo brakes over the corsa.

Imo if i was you I wouldnt sell the corsa for one
