I think Vauxhall have replaced my gearbox with one from a scrappy, done 600 miles and 5th gear started whining last night. Now tell me theres not a fault with M32's. Nice wee call to make to Vauxhall on Monday.

This was a new box btw, not a recon as far as I can tell.

i think its more to do with crunching gears and ragging the shit out of it more than it just breaking naturally.

ollies hasn't broke or had any problems afaik.

Mines spot on and my cars been mapped and is driven quite hard.

Not sure why people are going through boxes tbh.

Obviously can't drive properly.

Box has definately been changed, no doubting that. Took it for a run this morning and it wasn't making the noise so I'm guessing it needs to get hot before it does it. Not been giving it a hard time and its running standard power aswell.

Will wait till I'm off on Thursday and take it for a good run and make sure its definately noisy and pop in to the dealers when its doing it. I could hear it clear as day when I put it under load last night so will see.

If the box is whored I'll be demanding a split new one.
