Not doing anything for this after the last one. Don't really want to give him money to find out he was doing wheelies in the fast lane prior to the impact.
Perhaps Sunz could clarify how much was raised given it was far in excess of what they needed, and let us know how much they're passing on?

its awful though, i would be more inclined to donate to this though as at this stage i would say it does not sound like a drunken holiday fall. Either way I hope the guy mends as well as possible.

Worst bit about it all is insurance is only about £30 quid for a year, if you haven't already got it free with something.

well no, i think everyone can agree he is completely idiotic for not renewing his insurance but things like that happen, how many people forget their MOT has run out etc, the guy is now paralysed and blind for the rest of his life....

Correct me if I'm wrong but did he not have insurance but only for a short term holiday and he stayed on? So the £30 he did pay wasn't any good anyway?

You don't normally hear of people going to Thailand for a week, I'd he got appropriate cover, genuinely forgot then was in a freak accident, fair enough.
Probably not though.

So what if he was speeding and doing wheelies, still human and still deserves to come home, he wont have much of a life really but at least he will be home, I didn't realise that only totally perfect people are a worthy cause.
I donated £100 to him and wouldnt give a shit if he was drunk and on crack to be honest, he should come home and be with his family and loved ones.
Everyone makes mistakes, some worse then others but well that's life.
The excess money from my sisters fundraising, well 50% of this is going to Thomas Moss and also there is a little baby girl who needs to come home so she is getting the other 50% so in all its going to a good cause, just tell yourself your part went to the little baby girl

When I was in Thailand, lots of people who'd never ridden any sort of 2 wheel'd motor transport, would hire mopeds ... ride them down to bars / clubs.
Then get blind drunk and ride them back to save the cost of taxis.
The place was literally full of people who'd fallen off drunk.
As tragic as it is, I'm fairly sure the guy would have himself to blame for the incident.
