Was going to say 5w50 sounds a bit too heavy for a VTEC lump.

5w40 in Millers is only £56.33 for 2 5litre bottles, not bad at all.

it's fine. The H22 is the older, more hardcore breed of vtec engines (none of this gay i-vtec), the same as the 1.8's in the tegs, and the 50weight oil is better for them if you're giving regular stick. 5w/50 is the best viscosity for them (proven reduction in consumption)

What about my K20A? (or whatever it is) in my s2000?

I put in 5w/40 - but recently put in 5w/30 and it disapeared quite fast.

well...standard recommendation is part-syn 10w/40 i wouldnt be using any p/syn oil in it though tbh. As synthetic replacements you can use Miller's 10w/40, Millers/Silkolene Supersyn 5w/40 or for track/extreme summer use - the Millers or Silkolene 5w/50.

It will go through the 5w/30 very quickly indeed...i wouldnt be using that again if i were you.
