looking into some form of induction kit for the car, best one around for the GP is the GSR kit, bolts traight to the turbo and still incoperates the AFM

just a bit wary of where it sits

We used fit cheap eBay ones in a similiar location on Alfa's when I worked there, it gets suprisigly wet behind there, these all rusted and in one case ruined an afm

The filters we fitted didn't look too dissimilar to that either

I cant see it sucking up large amounts of water tbh, 1ltr of water weighs 1kg, would take a mighty suck to suck that up a 70mm pipe

its just spray im worried about

well you have the wheel arch guard protecting underneath.

+ it wouldnt been seen as the best product if it caused issues!

My mate went through a deep puddle in his Stilo(air filter is at the bottom like that) and it took a load of water into the engine.

He had to have a new engine fitted.

I think as long as you don't drive through deep puddles or fords you'll be fine Matt

Mine gruppe m probably has more chance of drinking water, sucks air down from the scuttle panel

I'd be worried with road spray on a daily car. Be fine as a car used only in summer. I wouldn't do it.

Peugeot 306's have stupidly low air filters too, again be wary of big puddles!
