ok open question/ debate here! what is more imporatant to you? BIG POWER or BIG STYLING? i only have me a 1.2 but i'm 17 so its fair enough! on my last car-my fiesta 1.0 i had some 15" series 1 RST alloys( 4 sale by hte way-u2u me) but the bastard things didn't half make my car slow! i don't know if it's worth it for looking better! these days i'd much prefer to slam a car to the max on fat little euro style wheels and just smooth it- more of a subtle street sleeper look! i dunno but i think that if you see a 1.2 modified over the top with huge wheels on that might look good you wanna race it and test it out but it;s so dissapointing when it has no speed to throw at you whatsoever! big kits on fast cars-fair enough but little engined monsters aren;t really all that! euro style still turns heads and looks mean- big wheels-small engine, maybe more money than sense! what do you think?

If I had a small engine I would concentrate on looks...if the engine is slightly bigger then a mixture..if it was a large engine subtle styling and most on engine!!

IMHO

ha ha - a 1.2 or a 1ltr its not the wheels that make it slow - its the half assed teeny motor thats trying to drag the car and you along including the wheels - mate untill you get like 100bhp+ surley you wont be racing anything thats even capable of 'fast' - just chill and make it looklike how you want - dont foiol yourself the only 1l car that i know thats fast is a charade gtti - and they look pants anyway.

as loudcorsa said, when youve only got a 1.2 or 1 l it doesnt matter what wheels you've got cos its going to be slow!

You may aswell make it look good as you certainly arent going to make it very fast!

I have done nothing to my engine, I am just going to buy a fast car rather than piss 1000's away. Mr Evo beater

If you don't like the way it looks when you buy it then why buy it? I've never bought a car I didn't like in standard trim. My MR2 looks better than most things on the road (in my mind) and doesn't hang around. The money I would have spent monkeying around with the thing can now be spent on insurance and beer.
