could be. Can anyone clarify that for me? Toying with the idea of a 2.0 8v but i'm told the 1.4 isnt a kick in the arse off it and will use less petrol!

Depends, C14SE is MPi, C14NZ is SPI. I thought those "high torque" models were spi?

No not almost as fast but for the amount of petrol the 2 litre will be drinkin i'm told i'll beable to have the same fun with the mpi 1.4 for cheaper. I'm just keeping my options open at the moment as all the 2ltr 8v i find are the c20ne and i want a c20seh.

i've driven one, I highly doubt it's a patch near as much fun as c20xe, as it was certainly no quicker than my 1.5TD Can't say I've driven a c20xe but...

Not a c20xe, a c20ne. I just used that as an example at the top. If you read the rest of the thread. . . . . .

c14se mpi

year nipply/revy engine, good on petrol

was (i hate to admit it) abit quicker then my 113bhp x14xe cant remember if it was cammed tho
