hi guys what is the best stuff for this? obviously its the hottest part of the exhaust system,so needs to be really high temp paint,i presume spray would look and work better? iv used halfords high temp paint last time and it all melted as soon as the car started thanks for any help guys ,wanting it satin black ideally

I have some paint that can go onto a coal burning fire and thats fine on my back box..?
Then again that aint gonna be as hot a a manifold?

iv found some that can cope upto 820 degrees am sure manifold will get hotter than that though? just read the stuff i used last time did upto 300degrees lol

But the one on my X16 looks painted and is still grey looking, but I haven't a clue what make it is

damn lol i dont want a rusty shitty looking manifold , itl have to do though, iv cleaned it up abit but will no doubt go orange again when it lives outside under the bonnet
