right about 90% of the time when i start my car reasently its takes a while to fire up and then when it does engine management light stays on. Does anyone know know what it might be?
Its on a 1ltr 12v.

Get it plugged on to a diagnostics machine and that will tell . Will save you the hassle of everyone on here guessing and telling you all sorts of things

it does when driving along sometime jumps as if its going to stall. and cant accelirate for shit when management light is on.

Mine did something similar and it was the temp sensor i think

mine had tht .. it was AMF .. try driving just round the block with it unplugged and see if this turns the light off and runs smoother .. if so its this .. common fault unfortunatley mate

RIght took your adivce. Changed the AMF but also changed the exhust system and Cat due a bit of luck and getting it all free. problem is. its still doing it.
Any other ideas. When i start my car the oil light flickers on and off is that anything?
also one of the sensors is covered in oil :s dunno what sensor tho >.<

crank sensor would be my guess, oil light will probably be oil pressure switch.

Is the oil covered sensor on the front left hand side of the engine??Common problem for the switch to leak.Have you got enough oil in it??
