why? my brother had 3 new ones in the first month of owning it, but thats cause he had nails in them.

u know the tyre on the spare is actually the same low profile tyre ?

my dad needed a new tyre for his astra sxi, but they changed the design, and he couldn't get one. So he had to get one of the last ones available in the coutry couriered to the dealer where they changed it ! Cost a fortune.

- So pretty good that the tyre on the spare (on the corsa) is usable on the alloy too..

Probably doesn't help you tho !

cause of this...

i am getting rid of the car in a month so dont really wanna get a new tyre as all the tyres will need replaced pretty soon

i know how to change a tyre know a person with the machine that lets me use it but i think i can get the tyre repaired....my brother had this done once. just getting what ever car my dad gets in first...want an sxi dti like my brothers but my dad has not had any in for ages and i would like a new 1.4 sri but i would take another 1.2 sxi if i had to but its just a bit expensive to run

just get it repaired. thats an easy puncture to fix. cost a couple of quid. dont waste getting anoter tyre

u cant use the tyre off the spare coz the spare is a 14" steelie. just get the puncture plugged or use that stuff in a can that u put in the tyre to seal it

the spares are 15's over here matey. Well they are on the SXi which has 15" alloys

damn why do us aussies always get jipped. our corsas, even my 1.8 have 14" steel jobbies.

i have taken the wheel off the now and washed it and my dad is going to take it to work (works for vauxhall) and get it done.....my brother had it done a while ago and it was free

my dad took wheel 2 work 2day and it needed a new tyre.....the nail was right through and touching the side wall on the tyre so couldnt b repaired.....new tyre was £83 thats just a standard michelin 185/55/15 i know a mate who could have got me Toyo's for £25 a corner

The tyre on the spare on every Sxi i've known (5 of them at my house) has the same tyre on the spare as it has on the wheels. Get them changed over

i am getting them to change another alloy with the spare wheel tyre so that the tread is even i thought it would b nice and cheap but my dads garage get a company to change the tyres now

u can get it repaired even if its touching or punctured the sidewall, not many people think so but u can, not all places can do it though!

Yeh, they kind of weld the tyre, this is done to lorries that have punctures, they have to send the tyre off tho.

it was not worth getting it fixed it it was gonna start costing money....tyre on had a few mm of tread left

dont know how u been quoted so cheap as mytyres.net has them for £68each and my dad wouldnt use the guy if he was gonna rip him off, the garage has used the same company for ages
