Applied to get my old number plate back onto my current car, any ideas how long it takes DVLA to send me a corrected certificate? I was told it could be as quick as a week

10-14days give or take

you will get a letter first to say you can swap the plates back over and tax disc then you will get a further letter a few days later with new MOT and V5 in

can you p/x a car during transfer?

I.e if u p/x it, but you dont have the v5 yet, are you still legally the owner? hence dont cancel insurance until you sign it over?

I wouldnt get into transferring the car until you have the plate sorted

Mine took less than 1 week but that might be because its through DVLA Fleet

DVLA are really quick at the moment. My licence came back in 3 days

I've sent off the docs to get my number plate taken off yesterday, so hoping to have the new reg back next week.
