My mate done the same with his mk4 to hide the woodgrain.

I decided to do it because mk4 golfs came with soft touch plastics which just scratch off and the previous owner was obviously a dog. So to tidy it up a bit i done this, blends in really well. Saw the same stuff in a 3 series bmw and liked it.

How did you get it to look so neat? Curve around the edges on all those?

When it stretches does it not disfigure the way the carbon looks by stretching it?

Not massively tbh, only when you stretch it like a bastard
If you have smooth curves to do then its really good but small curves are slightly harder, i think it all depends on the shape of the cars trim.

It was £17 for a sheet on ebay to do all my interior and plenty left so doing the gfs clio to cover up the scratched trims in hers. Ill take a proper pic in a minute in daylight.

I thought about painting but ive done it before and its boring so thought that id spend the same amount on painting materials as i would this and with this i can just peel it all off if i grow to dislike it

i was going to get some of this for the puma's mirrors (got electric ones and it's easier then painting them) and the silver dash bits.

i think it's quite neat in small areas.
