Good call but its a bit depressing how few manufacturers are in this now. Don't think we will ever see the golden age we had through the mid 90s

Agreed, I was watching a couple of old videos the other day with Cleland, Harvey and the likes and the racing is just ridiculous, 5 cars going into a corner at the same time
And for some reason I like Plato, definetely rooting for him. Matt Neal is a dirty wanker, throws his weight around too much.

Plato is just as bad. And he's a arrogant fucker.

Hm I don't know, he is quite arrogant but not as aggressive as Neal. He holds his lines more than purposely putting people off like Matt.

Plato seems far too subdued for my liking. I like Neal and Sheddon who always seem in a good mood, and Onslow Cole who looks like he's up for a laugh.
Plato just always comes across as miserable or bitter when he isn't winning, and arrogant when he is.

best btcc season for a few years imo this year . has been much closer racing. theres still quite a big grid even if there is a lack of works teams.

That Toyota does look cool. But then the BTCC makes the Chevy Cruze look cool as well

You notice they only pick the decent ones to show on TV. I was at the last Donington round and there were several dogs on show
Quite a few properly hot girls too though.

Only caught the first and last races, not bad but could have been better. Kane was unlucky not to get past Jordan in the third, what was he playing at on the yellow flags though?

I was surprised at how quick the Toyota was, it barely had a set up on it!

Epic anti-climax.
Plato didn't even have to try that hard. Would have been better is Neal was right up there in the last race for some mental grinding.
Well done JP.

i always thought the btcc was getting a bit boring now and never really watched it recently . then i went to watch it at knockhill a month or so ago and it was amazing just the way they throw them round the track and the noise they make is unreal. great to watch in real life.

You should watch the WTCC, only Chevvies, BMWs and Seats.

Also ment to ask yesterday what was the spec ruling on the cars this year.
As I noticed that they all used different engines now not all 2.0 na and some are RWD

the only ones not running the s2000 cars this year was 2 vectras, a seat and the lpg turbo fords,
for next year some folks have allready said they will be going down the ngtc rules (2.0 turbos) -team AON, honda/team dynamics, shaun hollombys golf
two vetcras and a seat ran with these engines restricted this year, so guessing they will be running the same next year aswell the old s2000 engines will eventually be phased out over the next few years as the power etc is increased on the ngtc engines think there aiming for 2013
teams can buy the ngtc engine from toca or develop there own but its all designed to make it alot cheaper to enter and run a team in the series
