my 1.6 sport is having problems going into gear sometimes. Ive always had problems with 3rd but now its not wanting to go into the other gears sometimes.

Anyone got any ideas why ??

is ya clutch pedal high as might need adjusting or new clutch

i had this with my sri, not sure if its the same but with mine it was fine sometimes and then not, my clutch plate was fked and only had one spring left in it and wasnt disengaging properly, though it was the gearbox til i took it off and saw the damage

if its bad in all the gears the cable might need adjusting but if its bad in one particular gear i would have thought that would be something wrong internally in the box

clutch pedal is nearly right down. its seems better now, with the cooler weather, and is proper bad when engine is hot
